All talks are held within the Woodway Room of the Town Hall and commence at 7.30pm unless otherwise indicated. Admission to the talks will be £1.00 for members and £4.00 for non-members. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided after the talk.

19th Century Lady Woodcarvers who became one of the southwest’s pre-eminent woodcarving companies.
A presentation by Helen Wilson.

4th June 2023 (Sunday)
A visit to the Pengelly Cave Trust and Museum at Buckfastleigh
including a visit to Joint Mitnor Cave commencing at 2pm. Further details in April/May.

7th July 2023
Welfare in Widecombe 1700 to 1900
Stories from the Widecombe archives about how welfare was administered in those times.
A presentation by Roger Claxton.
